BAL Bond SBR is a multi-use synthetic polymer primer, bonding agent and admixture. You can add it to mortars used in screeds, plaster, rendering, bricklaying, pointing and repairs to improve the flexibility and tensile strength of the mortar. BAL Bond SBR is also used as a primer for tile fixing onto timber, plaster, screeds, rendering or vinyl tiles.
When used as an admixture, BAL Bond SBR Primer adds greater toughness, flexibility and tensile strength, allowing mortars to be applied in thinner sections. It also improves adhesion to backgrounds and bases, adds greater resistance to water and water vapour, greatly increases protection from water and salts, increases resistance to impact and reduces surface dusting.
