BAL Flexbone 2Easy is a unique floating loose lay uncoupling mat requiring simple preparation - simply sweep solid level floors and lay the mat down. No primer or adhesive is needed to install BAL Flexbone 2Easy matting. Tile immediately on to contaminated, stained or cracked screeds and over bitumen with this solution. Allows for fast-track tiling on new anhydrite and sand cement screeds that aren’t cured, as moisture evaporates through the covering joints. The installation of decoupling membrane ensures small cracks in the substrate are absorbed by the matting. This membrane measures 3mm thick and a full roll of BAL Flexbone 2Easy is 20 metres, so add 20 metres to your basket to get a full roll.
Flexbone 2Easy is suitable for light commercial and domestic projects such as hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, office walkways, department store concessions, trade show stands and car showrooms. Because the matting is not stuck down it's the perfect choice for rental or period properties, or areas where the flooring may need to be changed frequently. Using Flexbone 2Easy saves up to 2kg per m2 in adhesive when compared to bonded mats. It can be used with underfloor heating, on timber floors and existing load bearing floor surfaces.
