BAL Micromax 3 ECO is a rapid-setting and rapid-hardening cementitious tile grout made by the trusted BAL brand. The latest addition to their popular Micromax range, Micromax 3 features enhanced qualities and capabilities. It is highly flexible, water/frost-resistant and has patented built-in Microban® antimicrobial protection for walls and floors.
BAL Micromax 3 is perfect for grouting glazed and fully vitrified porcelain tiles, glass and ceramic mosaics, marble and natural stone in both wet and dry, indoor or outdoor environments. Always follow BS Standards (minimum 2mm joints for walls and 3mm for floors, size can change depending on size of tile and environments). BAL Micromax 3 is perfect for joint widths from 1mm to 30mm and is highly recommended for power showers, wet rooms, heated floors and timber floors.
BAL Micromax 3 Eco Tile Grout sets in 2-3 hours, which enables faster completion of the tiling application. The efflorescence-free formulation minimises risk of patchy discolouration. This grout is also water/frost-resistant and features a built-in admixture for increased flexibility and enhanced durability which ensures a clean, even finish for grout joints.
The Microban® antimicrobial protection present in BAL Micromax 3 tile grout inhibits the growth of bacteria like isteria, Salmonella and E-Coli and black mould. It provides an added layer of hygiene protection for bathrooms, showers and food consumption areas. Active biocide used to treat the article: 2-Octyl-2H-isothiazol-3-one.
