The Marmox shower tray with an offset drain formation is a level access shower tray designed for use in tiled wet rooms and walk in showers. The tray is made of high density polystyrene which is coated on both sides with a unique blend of polymer concrete reinforced with patented nanotechnology. The trays can be installed onto concrete or timber floors using a suitable tile adhesive. Please note; when you add a Marmox Offset Draining Shower Tray to your basket, the matching free Marmox 360 Drain is automatically added.
The shower tray can be easily cut into most sizes or shapes and forms a floor-level, barrier-free panel ready to receive tiles. Use Marmox Self-Adhesive Waterproof Tape around the edges of the level shower tray and up the corner of the wall to create a waterproof seal that protects other parts of the property from damp.
Low-access wet room shower trays are particularly beneficial for people with disabilities or limited movement, for whom climbing into a raised shower or bath may be difficult. Unlike many other shower tray brands, the Marmox Showerlay is robust enough to allow mosaic tiles as small as 50mm to be laid on it without the risk of compression through point loading.
